29/9/20 – HE have advised that they will be including the Passport Scheme in all new projects but state that it is NOT MANDATED. However, it is the intention that it be adopted “unless you have something better” and they are expecting all lead contractors to require compliance. Note: There is currently no rule with regard to suspension of cards but there is a facility to register on the card why a person has been denied entry to site. 21/9/20 – The new Common Induction Framework has still not been completed and there is no current date for implementation of this scheme, although it has been confirmed that it will be renewed. Those holding cards from the original pilot scheme may continue to use these and they are valid for three years from the date of issue.
